The Land
Clontopia is located in the central highlands of Victoria, at the foothills of Mt Disappointment approximately 60km from Melbourne CBD.
A private property established on the traditional land of the Taungurung people.
’We acknowledge the traditional custodians of this land and pay respect to past, present and emerging’.
Surrounded by 64 acres of rugged bushland, wide open skies, a plethora of native flora and fauna. The bushland is dense and mountainous. Majestic rock walls can be found down near the creek which runs through the property.
Your Hosts
Michael & Vanessa
Michael (Mike), a butcher by trade, embraces the country life and loves tinkering away building new things to improve the property. His ultimate aim for Clontopia is self sustainability and self sufficiency. Bee keeping, breeding fish in our lake, creating an orchard, growing an epic vegetable garden and greenhouse, amongst other things are pathing the way to his vision. Mike loves giving guests tours of the property on 'Hawkeye' his military buggy.
Vanessa (Ness) gets her love for hosting from her Italian heritage, in particular her mother, who is always entertaining and taught her how to cook at a very young age. She is very mindful of what she puts in her body (which is reflected in the food she prepares for others) maintains a healthy plant based diet, plenty of fresh air and sunshine. She experiences gratitude everyday she wakes up at Clontopia, and feels blessed to live on such sacred land.
Ness is a SoulNar Sound & Energy Healing Practitioner and a Certified Yoga Nidra Meditation Teacher, and practises under the name 'The Healing Promoter',
She works with energy, frequencies and vibrations to promote healing. Subtly guiding you to self healing and clearing away trapped energies in your body that serve no purpose. She uses different sounds in her sessions and her aim is for her clients to achieve ultimate relaxation and mental awareness as one. Ness is also a Certified Sacred Ceremony Facilitator as well as a Retreat Leader.
